Who handles your information

Kristian Matthews-Kennington is the data controller for enquiries submitted through this portfolio. I am based in Yorkshire, UK. You can contact me about privacy or exercise your rights through the portfolio contact form.

Information

What the form collects

The form asks for:

• your name;
• your email address;
• the type of enquiry; and
• the message you choose to send.

Basic technical checks are also used to validate the request and reduce spam. Please do not include health, financial or other sensitive personal information in your message.

Purpose

Why I use it

I use your information to read and respond to your enquiry, manage any relevant follow-up, and protect the form from misuse. The usual lawful basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me. Where your enquiry concerns a possible contract, I may also use it to take steps you request before a contract is agreed.

Service providers

Who processes it

The form uses FormSubmit to deliver your message by email. Site hosting and email providers may also process the minimum information needed to operate the form and deliver the enquiry. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Their privacy terms apply to that processing.

You can read the FormSubmit documentation for information about its service. I do not sell, rent or use contact enquiries for advertising.

Retention

How long it is kept

I keep correspondence only for as long as needed to answer your enquiry, manage relevant follow-up, and retain any necessary business or legal record. FormSubmit's documentation states that it retains form submissions for 30 days.

Your choices and protections

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, or object to how it is used. You may also have a right to receive certain information in a portable format.

Use the portfolio contact form and choose "Something else" for a privacy question or request. I may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
